Meet Your Guide
My name is Carlie Hileman (She/Her)!
I an a trans woman and veteran of the United States Army Reserve with a deployment in Afghanistan. I struggled with ADHD in college and with a 1-year break for deployment I took 8 years to finish my bachelors degree with a pretty average GPA. In my final semester I finally learned how to work with my ADHD and started doing well. These supports allowed me to get into my masters program for Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) in 2021 which I graduated from with Honors!
My professional background has followed two tracks until 2025 when I separated from the United States Army. In the Army I finished as a Warrant Officer, working as a petroleum logistics expert and planning large scale exercises. Far more slowly I pursued an undergrad in Behavioral Sciences and then completed an accelerated CMHC Masters program. My focus here is on trying to make mindfulness accessible to everyone.
